confirms that this IS St Columba's,
with its dormitories, pebble dashing and
pristine white paint!

Pelican reunion at The Priory (1998)
The gentleman standing at the right is the late Major John Burdett-Clark,
a
great supporter of the Pelicans and a parishioner of Our Lady Queen
of Apostles
Church, whom some of us will remember way back in our Priory days.
(He is the
husband of Verna and the father of Paula Yeomans, of course).
I can also spot Bernard Melling talking to a bearded gentleman (Maurice Billingsley).

Tthe umbrella indicates that it must be summer, but who is the lady holding
it?

Please note: the height of this photo could easily have been shortened,
but the window detail will appeal to the trainspotters amongst us.
