If you are new to this site you may wish to know that 'The Pelicans' is a loose association of ex-White Father students and people who have known the White Fathers (Missionaries of Africa) in one way or another. In essence, therefore, the website has been created and maintained for 'Friends of the White Fathers'.

There is no membership, as such, but all those who have been in touch are listed in the website's CONTACTS section, along with their contact details.

Reunions are held once or twice a year, to which everyone is welcome. (See the REUNIONS section for details of past and planned meetings).

Keep in touch and please let others know about the site.

We are always looking for more material for our website. IF you have any photos or other memorabilia PLEASE let me borrow them ASAP. Everything you send will be treated carefully and returned to you safely.

(Do not bother to scan photos—originals are preferred).
