"White Fathers, doing the work themselves, have erected
a parish hall at Heston, Middlesex.
Above Fr A E Howell WF, the Superior, who was the clerk of works, checking up
the plans
with Brother Ingbert WF, the foreman.
Four lay brothers did most of the work. When they had put up the structure,
they were called
away to more urgent work, and outside labour did the finishing."
