There has been a temporary glitch with our Mesage Board. The providers of this facility (BraveNet.com)
have deleted the account — along with our visitor counter. No advance notice was given and persistent
requests for an explanation have been ignored. In the meantime please email your messages to me
and I will post them on this Page

Date : 13/10/2011 I don't know what has happened Chris. When I log in to the Messageboard & the visitor counter service, I am told that my account is closed. And I've tried everything to contact Bravenet without success. I'm very worried about this — during the summer I had to rebuild large chunks of the site which have been been deleted. (Involving hundreds of photos). To avoid any panic I've kept this to myself until now. Unfortunately, the Message Board comments and the 'traffic counter' are not stored on the Pelicans' website. Previous messages and counts are held by Bravenet, so I have no control over the data. This is one reason why I created the 'Message Bank' — which involved taking screen prints of each page and transcribing the messages on to the site. I'd be grateful if you would keep all this to yourself for the moment, while I try to work out how to contact Bravenet. (Their contact facility is automated and there is no phone or email address as far as I can see). Thanks for alerting me to this. Date : 13/10/2011 |
