Dear Pelicans

Those of you in receipt of my e-mail encyclicals will already be largely familiar with the content of what follows:

  A. Chris Benton is trying to fix us up with a weekend at the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel across the Tweed from St Columba's. We would stay over Friday 19 and Saturday 20 April at a competitive rate of £64 per person per night which may come down again depending on how many Pelicans (this includes the women) we can get to book in. It is Chris who is running this one and he is trying very hard to make a go of it. We've been everywhere else but this is our first reunion at St Boswell's.

  B. I have just five minutes ago asked Fr Buckley by e-mail if we may congregate at Bishops Waltham for Pentecost i.e. arrive Friday 17 May leave after Mass (if you wish) Whit Sunday 19 May.
