REUNION IN LONDON
11th & 12th September 2009

Mike Ellis writes :  "At the kind invitation of Peter Jennings, a group of us came together at The East India Club in St. James Square, London. Here we were royally entertained with a glass of champagne followed by a delicious lunch and some excellent wines.

This gathering included Peter Jennings, John Joyce, Robbie Dempsey, Owen Gormley and me.

The conversations were very animated and of course centred on memories from fifty years ago. Later that afternoon, we were welcomed into the home of the Archbishop of Westminster, who sadly could not join us as he was involved in an important meeting. However his staff made us most welcome and following this we went to High Mass in Westminster Cathedral where the full choir sang a Palestrina Mass.

Another very memorable event!

Mike Ellis writes : Today we enjoyed a much more informal get-together involving Fr. Chris Wallbank, Robbie Dempsey, Owen Gormley and myself. We went to The Royal Festival Hall on the south bank of the Thames where we all enjoyed a nice lunch and a good chat with Chris.
